Google Says It Will Run Entirely on Renewable Energy in 2017

Google, which consumed as much energy as the city of San Francisco last year, says that all of its energy will come from wind farms and solar next year. The online giant said that all its data centers around the world will be entirely powered with renewable energy sources some time in 2017. Google indicated that it is the largest corporate purchaser of renewable energy in the world. They believe it’s good for the economy, good for business and good for our shareholders.
